Broadway in Eagle. The building on the right was built by the First National Bank of Eagle County. The two story half of the building was occupied by general merchandise stores (F. Hugus and Co.; later, the Lewis store); the one story side by the bank.
The line of wagons and carriages may be a parade.

"After a 1933 fire destroyed several downtown buildings, the next business to build in that space was the Independent Lumber Company. The lumber company moved to Chambers Avenue (Across the Eagle River) in the early 1980s.
