The church, built in 1906 on the corner of Main St. and Toledo [191 Main St.], served the Presbyterian denomination for 96 years. "James P. Carrigan, who was appointed pastor of St. Stephen's in Glenwood Springs in 1910, began making monthly visits to celebrate Mass in Thomas Minturn's section house.
