"This showed the entire length of the farm" and the Borah's house is circled (from Alda Borah). The ranch was located on Brush Creek from what is now the Hardscrabble Road up to the red schoolhouse, then east toward Bruce Creek.

15) Capitol Street

The road at center was called Brush Creek Road, now Capitol Street, and this view is south of town. Castle Peak is in the distance, near center.
16) Castle Peak

"This big mountain was my friend when I was a child on Brush Creek, south of Eagle. Was reported me paper, a large portion was expected to fall this year (1982). Wonder if it has happened." - from Alda Borah. The peaks of Castle Peak have changed, but it wasn't until 2015 when more noticeable rocks had disappeared.

18) Dead Horse Creek

Dead Horse Creek begins high in the mountains above Glenwood Canyon, feeding into the now-infamous Hanging Lake. The creek forks into an east/west at Hanging Lake before meeting the Colorado River at the bottom of the canyon.
