Alec Macdonell, born in Beauly, Scotland, with one of his Scottish longhorned cattle. "Highland cattle or kyloe are an ancient Scottish breed of beef cattle with long horns and long wavy coats which are coloured black, brindled, red, yellow or dun. The breed developed in the Scottish Highlands and Western Isles of Scotland. 16) Cyrus Dice

Cyrus Dice, at right, and an unidentified man riding horseback at Brush Creek. Cyrus Dice ranched on Brush Creek for many years, moving to Eagle when he retired. He was married to Anna Norman until her death in 1949, and was then married to Imogene Lewis in 1957.
