The Carlson IGA Store and the Basalt Post Office, located about midblock of main street (Railroad Avenue) Basalt. A public water fountain is located between the two buildings.
3) Broadway

Broadway in Eagle. The building on the right was built by the First National Bank of Eagle County. The two story half of the building was occupied by general merchandise stores (F. Hugus and Co.; later, the Lewis store); the one story side by the bank.
The line of wagons and carriages may be a parade.

"Miss Daggett" outside the general store in Gypsum. O.W. Daggett and his wife, Harriet Patterson Daggett, had four daughters. This may be daughter Harriette as the other women married: Elizabeth P. Couey, Eleanor D. Nesbit, Emma Lou Palmer.
