Cabin originally located at Arrowhead Ski Mountain, located between Hwy 6 and the Eagle River, where the main entrance into Arrowhead is now. It was built by a husband, wife and two boys who came through the Gore Creek Valley in the years 1894-1898. They built 3 or 4 similar cabins. In the 1950s, it was used as a bull shelter by Pete Dodo. Relocated by Steve Ruder to a lot west of Edwards on the Hwy 6 Frontage Road.

Barbara Clark in 1931, approximately 25 years of age. The photo was one submitted with applications for teaching positions. Barbara taught elementary grades in Wolcott, Red Cliff and Gilman until her retirement in 1970 or 1971.

Barbara Clark, Eagle County teacher, with Daisy, the horse, at the Bar-Gay Ranch near Edwards, Colorado (at the mouth of Squaw Creek). Ring, the dog (previously owned by Tom Pearch), is standing next to Mrs. Clark. The Bar-Gay Ranch was originally the Hawley place. Gaylord and Barbara Clark bought the house and outbuildings; the land was a school section which they leased for 99 years.
