As the Doll Brothers ranch grew in size, brothers Frank and Sam built this three-story flour mill, circa 1900. "Considered modern in its time, the mill ground all wheat produced in the area, putting out 80 barrels a day. The mill even imported wheat to grind. "Doc" Warren Jacobson and Lislotte Anderson Jacobson standing in front of one of six homesteads on the Jacobson Ranch. This cabin was built by Ada Slusser, sister of Lucy Ellen Slusser Doll (married Frank Doll), in 1890. It was called the honeymoon cabin because, according to the late Myrtie Stephens, the girls from Sweetwater used to go there on their honeymoons (the Stephens girls, as well as others in the community).

Looking west toward Glenwood Canyon, a view of the Doll Ranch at Dotsero. Hwy 6 is at midfield and the Stewart Family cemetery is where the cottonwood trees are located. The Stephens Nursery is at this location now [2012]. The photo was taken in April 1955, after a spring storm.

post-1902: Front view of the Methodist Church and parsonage, Eagle, Colorado. The Church was organized under the name of Christ Methodist Church. W. W. Winne, who preached (1899-1900) but was not an ordained minister, arranged for a five hundred dollar loan from the Denver Missionary Society. With this money and donated labor, the one-room church was completed in July 1900; the parsonage was built in 1902.
