As the Doll Brothers ranch grew in size, brothers Frank and Sam built this three-story flour mill, circa 1900. A letter written by Y. B. P. to Joe McDonell, dated October 19, 1898, from Telluride. The letter is written on letterhead for The New Sheridan hotel. The New Sheridan is located in Telluride and is still in operation, having first opened its doors in 1895, following a fire that destroyed the first Sheridan Hotel. It is unknown who Y. P. B. or Joe McDonell were, nor is it clear what their connection to the Doll Brothers was.
