Cliff Ingrum, early day resident of Gilman and Minturn was found dead at his home in New Castle April 13 by a neighbor. Garfield County Coroner Jack Farnum fixed the time of death two days before, and attributed it to natural causes.
Funeral services were held in the Presbyterian church in Minturn April 15 by Rev. J. Randall Brown and burial was in the Minturn Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Caddy, Emil Erlandson, Oscar Nelson, Clarence Schlegel, Ed Duffy, and Nels Nesthouse.
Cliff Ingrum was one of 6 children born ot Mr. and Mrs. Matt Ingrum. He was born at Georgetown, Colo., Aug. 21, 1881 and came to Gilman with his parents at the age of Four. The family later farmed on Gore Creek. Mr. Ingrum mined and ranched in Eagle county until about 14 years ago when he and his brother Matt moved to New Castle; neither brother married and maintained their home together until Matt's death about 4 years ago.
