BASALT-- Mrs. Hattie Lawrence, 92, resident of Basalt for 36 years, died at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs after suffering a stroke. Mrs. Lawrence was born Aug. 1, 1874 [...] Iowa and spent her childhood in Arapahoe, Neb. She married Ulysses Lawrence at Elwood, Neb., November 3, 1890. He died June 13, 1956 at Basalt. Mrs. Lawrence was a member of the Rebekah Lodge of Basalt.
