LISS LAWRENCE DIED IN BASALT.
Ulysses S. LAWRENCE, 86, Basalt resident for the past 23 years died at Basalt June 13, and was buried in the Basalt cemetery June 18.
Mr. LAWRENCE was born in Iowa April 5, 1870 and in 1890 was married to Hattie M. POTTER in Nebraska.
Mr. LAWRENCE is survived by his wife and six children: Elsie HEMANN, Klamath Falls, Ore.; Jake LAWRENCE, Basalt; Goldie SLOSS, Denver; Ella LAWRENCE, Basalt; Walter LAWRENCE, Carbondale; and Ted LAWRENCE, Denver. He was preceded in death by two sons.
Also surviving are two brothers, Charles of Rigby, Idaho and Roy of Wickenburg, Ariz. and one sister Wilda GRANT of Basalt; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
