JAMES McBREEN DIED IN SALIDA HOSPITAL.
James Patrick McBREEN was born May 27,1900 to Anna and James McBREEN at Ivanhoe, Colorado, on the old Midland railroad in western Colorado. He was a locomotive engineer for the D&RG for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Jeannette, two sons: Mike and Jack;three brothers: Bill and Benny of Salida and Tommy of Eagle; two sisters: Katherine MACK of Glenwood and Mary STITT of Denver; four grandchildren; Michael, Colleen, Scott and Alexis and several nephews and nieces.
He was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen.
Funeral services were held Friday at 9 a.m. in St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Glenwood.
Pall bearers were fellow railroaders: Dick ALBER, Isaiah KNOTT, Maynard HOAGLAND, and Arthur GUY and Ralph MEYERS.
