LILLIAN OLESON DIED IN SLEEP

One of Gypsum’s most respected ladies passed away in her sleep some time during Tuesday night, and was found sitting by her oil burner Wednesday morning by a close friend. Mrs. Lillian Oleson, widow of the late Ole Oleson, and a long time resident of Gypsum, was found dead in her home fearly Wednesday morning by Mrs. Minnie Woodhouse. Mrs Oleson had been working in her yard during the afternoon and had presumably gone to her home to warm herself and had turned the oil burner at a high heat. Mrs- Wood house, who has been living with Mrs Oleson, had made a trip to Glenwood during the afternoon with Mrs Frank Towndrow, and when she returned late in the afternoon, went to the front door, and found it locked. Trying the back door, which seemed to be locked, Mrs. Woodhouse thought Mrs. Oleson had gone for a visit and went to the Towndrow home to spend the night. She returned the following morning, and this time gained entrance through the past few months, but had seemed to be in fair healthShe had been ill during the winter and had been in the hospital during te winter, but had seemed to be in fair health. She leaves a brother Herman Erickson of Gypsum and a foster son, Jimmy of the West Coast.
