Man Found in Box Car Died of Heart Attack.
William Charles COLLINS, 58, died of a heart attack early Friday morning on a freight train in the Bond railroad yards.
The deceased had come into Bond Thursday night on a freight train, and remained overnight. The following morning around 5:30 with a companion, he boarded another west bound freight, and collapsed a few seconds later.
County Coroner Todd BOWMAN, who was summoned to Bond, attributed the death to a heart attack, and is holding the body here at Bowman Funeral Chapel pending word from a sister, Mrs. Lynn SNIDER, of 905 W. 75th St., Los Angeles, whose address was found on the body of the dead man. Mrs. Snider was contacted by Mr. Bowman Friday by telephone.
Graveside services will be conducted for the late Mr. Collins Saturday morning at 10 o'clock by Bowman Funeral Chapel, and Rev. Delbert PAULSON, Methodist minister.
