Ronald Ray Abbey, 17, of Eagle died July 1 as the result of a motorcycle accident. Abbey, a former state wrestling champion and 1983 graduate of Eagle Valley High School, was the son of Douglas and Betty Abbey of Eagle. He is survived by his parents; brothers, Dwane, Art and Sidney; sisters, Wanda and Theresa Ladenburger; three nephews and one niece. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Eagle Valley High School in Gypsum. Interment will follow at Sunset View Cemetery in Eagle.
