A graveside service for Wilma A. Cerise of Carbondale will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Weaver Cemetery in Carbondale with Rev. William Foster officiating. Mrs. Cerise died Friday in Grand Junction. She was 68. She was born June 29, 1921 to John and Emma LaForce in Eagle. She spent her childhood in McCoy and Glenwood Springs where she graduated from high school in 1940. She married Flaven J. Cerise in 1942. They were divorced. Mrs. Cerise was a member of the 7 Star Rebekah Lodge of Carbondale for 42 years. She was a past member of the Carbondale Volunteer Fire Dept and the Colorado Cowbelles Assoc. She enjoyed many activities including painting, crafts, and collecting. Survivors include 2 sons, John. K. of Carbondale, Stuart K. of Silt;a daughter, Billie Rae "Bee" Stevens of Kearneysville, WV; two brothers, John B. LaForce of Durango and Walter LaForce of Corona Del Mar, CA; two sisters, Stella Rector and Marge Blanc, both of Grand Junction; and 8 grandchildren.
