Frank Paul Alderson was born at Exeter, Ill., December 31, 1870, and passed away at the family home on Battlement Mesa near Grand Valley, Colo., February 24, 1954.
The Alderson family moved to Montrose, Colo. in 1886. Soon afterward, a tragedy left Frank an orphan with two younger brothers to raise.
He was married to Ada Fairfax of Paonia July 8, 1896 and to this union was born three children, Ada, Lester, and Lloyd. The latter died in Eagle in 1914.
Mr. Alderson was a member of the IOOF Lodge at Gypsum, and a member of an old English family.
Burial services were held for Mr. Alderson at Montrose. Surviving are his wife and son and daughter.
