Death claimed Lester Alderson, former county man, following a stroke. He died in Rifle Hospital May 12. Mr. Alderson had been in failing health for four years, suffering a heart ailment. He had visited in Eagle a short time previous to his sudden death.
The son of Mrs. F.P. Alderson and the late Frank Paul Alderson of Grand Valley, Lester was born March 17, 1902 at Rangely, Colorado.
The Aldersons lived for many years in Eagle county, in the Eagle and Edwards areas. They moved in 1949 to Grand valley where Mr. Aldersons' home was at the time of his death.
He is survived by his mother and one sister, Ada.
Funeral services were held in Grand Valley May 15. Burial was at Montrose.
