Albin Anderson Loses Life in Tractor Accident
We receive the intelligence of the accidental death of Albin Anderson of Pando last Tuesday, the day before Christmas. The deceased has been employed by Gus Benson as a driver of a Caterpillar tractor in hauling logs from the camp five miles from Pando to the mill at the latter place. We did not learn the exact particulars of tragedy, except that Mr. Anderson while driving the machine fell from his seat and under the "cat" and his head was smashed, causing instant death.
Together with his brother, J. B. Anderson, Albin has been engaged for several years in conducting a saw mill in the vicinity of Tennessee Pass. Their sale on the Forest was cut out last fall and the mill closed down. Since that time, Albin had been employed by Mr. Benson.
