Imogene Brockett passed away on March 27, 2007 at the age of 84 in Fruita.
Imogene was born on November 19, 1922 to Green and Rachel Perkins in Domino, Kentucky. She married James K. Brockett in 1966 in Missouri. James passed away on March 4, 2003.
Imogene lived a majority of her childhood in Eagle and Minturn. In her married life, she stayed in Colorado, moving to Grand Junction, Denver, Canon City, and moving back to the Grand Valley in 2005. She was a homemaker, loved traveling, gardening, and made many handicrafts that she would share with her family and friends. She belonged to the Neighbors of Woodcraft and the Elketts Lodge 610.
Imogene is survived by her children, son, Glen White of Grand Junction, daughter Judy (Bill) Baker of Fruita; grandchildren Roger (Olena) Ward of Fruita; Russell (Teresa) White of Grand Junction; Susan (Kenneth) Chadwick of Minturn and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, Eldon and Dempsey Perkins.
