John Paul Angel was born June 13, 1920 in Silt, Colorado. He attended grade and high school at Rifle and worked almost all of his life at Silt, Rifle, Snowmass and Glenwood Springs.
On February 6, 1934 he married Elva Elizabeth Hogan at Eagle. They lived in Gypsum until her death in 1961. He then went to Riverside, Calif. to live with his sister, returning to Gypsum January 1963.
Mr. Angel died of a heart attack April 23, 1964. He was buried April 30 in Cedar Hill Cemetery with Father Thomas Stone conducting the graveside service.
