HEART ATTACK FATAL TO ALLEN CLARK.
Allen CLARK, 73-year old Eagle business man dropped dead Sunday morning at the pool hall he operated in Eagle.
Mr. CLARK had been in failing health for several months and under a doctor's care.
Funeral services were held here yesterday, and burial was in the Gypsum cemetery.
Mr. CLARK is survived by his wife, Mamie [sic] Ferguson CLARK; and two daughters, Pauline ROCHFORD and Alline ROSS, both of Eagle. He was a brother to County Commissioner John CLARK and Mrs. Ida SIXKILLER of Gypsum.

Luther Allen CLARK was born July 31, 1886 at Spring Valley, Ark. to W.J. and Reginia Isley CLARK, one of eight children.
On August 9, 1916, he married Mayme FERGUSON at Stilwell, Okla. and to this union were born two daughters.
In 1916 he came to Colorado, settling in Gypsum. He farmed in the Gypsum valley and on Brush Creek.
In years past Mr. CLARK's chief hobby and activity was baseball.
In 1946 he took over the Billy MORGAN poolhall, which he operated until the hour of his death.
On August 2, Mr. CLARK suffered a fatal heart attack in the pool hall.
He is survived by his wife of Eagle; two daughters, Alline ROSS and Pauline ROCHFORD of Eagle; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two brothers, John CLARK of Eagle, James W. CLARK of Muldrow, Okla., and one sister, Ida SIXKILLER of Gypsum.
Funeral services were conducted in the Eagle Methodist Church Aug. 5 by Reverend H. C. MOOREHEAD. Burial was in Cedar Hill cemetery, Gypsum.
Pallbearers were Eldon WILSON, Bill GORDON, Les RANDALL, Claude CHRISMAN, Harold MONAHAN, and Rolland RANDALL.
Coming from out of town for Mr. CLARK's funeral were Mrs. Dan McLAUGHLIN, Trinidad; Mr. and Mrs. George FERGUSON, Clifton; Mr. and Mrs. Felix SIXKILLER, Dragerton, Utah; Mary MOORE, Nederland, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence WIGGINGTON, Rifle; Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy ROSS, Great Falls, Mont.
