E. Louise Cline, 79, of Grand
Junction, passed away June 30,
2010.
Louise was born in Salina, KS
January 11, 1931 and was raised
in Brookville, KS where she
graduated high school. She married
in 1949 and lived in the
Salina area where she and her
husband farmed and had six children.
She and her children moved to Grand Junction in 1971.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Marjie Cejka; daughter,
Nancy Nunez; granddaughter, Jamie Cline and grandson, Chad
Moon.
She is survived by her brother, Bill Garrison, Kansas City, MO;
sons, Dusty Cline of New Cambria, KS, and John (Debbie) Cline of
Loma, CO; daughters, Diann (Mike) Moon of Loma; Virginia
(Hersh) Secrest of Salina, KS and Cleta (Steve Cowley) Cline of
Grand Junction; 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Louise was a homemaker and had many career changes and retired
from Southwest Airlines. She built her life around her kids and said
they were her joy. Louise was “Mom” to several children along with
her own. She had an exceptional sense of humor and a quick wit.
She became interested in genealogy and was a member of the DAR
for five years. She enjoyed painting and did several pictures for
family members and friends.
We love you and will miss you Mom.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at
Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Interment will be held at New Elmwood
Cemetery, Fruita, CO. Memorials may be sent to Hospice & Palliative
Care of Western Colorado, Grand Junction.

Hospice Care Center.
Visitation will be from 6 to
8 p.m. Monday at Callahan-Edfast
Mortuary. Services will be
at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.
Burial will be at New Elmwood
Cemetery in Fruita.
Ms. Cline was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons,
Dusty of New Cambria, Kan.
and John of Loma; three daughters,
Diann Moon of Loma,
Virginia Secrest of Salina, Kan.,
and Cleta Cline of Grand Junction;
one brother, Bill Garrison
of Kansas City, Mo.; 11 grandchildren;
and nine great-grandchildren.
