Funeral services for Stella Emma Cline of Eagle were held May 9 at the Eagle Community United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steve Goodier officiating. Burial was at the River View Cemetery in Minturn. Mrs. Cline died May 6 at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs. She was 92. She was born June 21, 1893 to Joshua and Mary Deal in Hoisington, KS. She was raised and attached public schools in Hoisington. She married Charlie Adron Cline in Newton, KS and the couple moved to Minturn in 1917. Mrs. Cline also lived in Salida before moving to Eagle 19 years ago. Her husband preceded her in death in 1966. Mrs. Cline was a member of the Eagle Community United Methodist Church and Rebekah Lodge in Kansas. She was active in the Eagle senior citizens groups and the church. She is survived by three sons, Harvey W. Cline of Grand Junction, Charles A. Cline of Tullahoma, TN, and James B. Cline of Wolcott; one daughter, Eary McDole of Salinas, CA; one sister, Peggy Woods of Holton, KS; 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-granchildren.
