Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn F. Cline, 69, a former longtime resident of Minturn and Eagle, will be held at 1 pm Friday, Aug. 2, at the Eagle Community United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Cline died Tuesday morning, July 30, at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Cline was born Oct. 12, 1915 in Buena Vista and spent her childhood there before moving to Minturn. She graduated from the former Minturn High School in 1932. She was married April 7, 1934 in Eagle to Harvey W. Cline.

Mrs. Cline worked as a secretary for the New Jersey Zinc Mine at Gilman for 22 years before her retirement in 1976. She and her husband resided in Grand Junction for the past 7 years. Mrs. Cline was a member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church in Grand Junction.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her mother, Leona Roberts of Salida; two daughters, Dianne Beasley of Eagle and Mary Lou Hairston of Grand Junction; one sister, Bettee Lu DeGrazzio of Golden; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Steve Goodier will officiate at Friday afternoon's funeral services. Interment will be at Sunset View Cemetery in Eagle. Martin's Mortuary of Grand Junction is in charge of funeral arrangements.
