HEART ATTACK FATAL TO IMOGENE DICE.
Mrs. Imogene Lewis DICE died suddenly in Denver October 2 of a heart attack. She was with friends in Denver, at the time.
A resident of Eagle for 55 years, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Ella LEWIS, prominent Eagle merchants until their deaths.
Imogene LEWIS was born in Palisade January 22, 1908 and came to Eagle with her parents, as a girl. She graduated from Eagle High School and from Colorado State Teachers College in Greeley.
She taught school in Eagle and Gilman until 1945.
Her husband, Cyrus L. DICE died in 1968.
She is survived by two brothers, Harry LEWIS of Eagle and John LEWIS of Gresham, Oregon.
Among the survivors are two nieces in Eagle, Susie ROSS and Kathy LEWIS.
Services were conducted Sunday at Farnum Chapel in Glenwood Springs and burial was in Sunset View Cemetery at Eagle.
