EDITH DISMANT DIED JUNE 16.
Mrs. Edith R. DISMANT,early day resident of Red Cliff died in the Glenwood Springs hospital Friday June 16, following a two-months sickness.
Edith R. NEWSTROM was born at Victoria, Ill. Nov. 25, 1882, and came to Red Cliff in 1898.On Sept. 11, 1901 she was married to J. M. DISMANT at Glenwood Springs and the couple made Red Cliff their home until 1936. Mrs. DISMANT lived in California from 1936 to 1942 when she returned to Colorado to live, making her home in Glenwood until the time of her death.
Mrs. DISMANT belonged to the Methodist Church and was a member of Kinnikinnick Circle, Neighbors of Woodcraft, Red Cliff.
She is survived by three sons: Merritt V., of Palisade, Carl I. of Denver, and John H. of Grand Forks, N. Dak.
One brother, John NEWSTROM of Oneida, Ill. also survives.
Services were held at Farnum Chapel in Glenwood June 21 and Interment will be in Pomona Cemetery, Pomona, Calif.
