Dolores Huebinger was born March 26, 1935, in Columbus, Ohio. She passed away May 24 in Lake Havasu City, Ariz.
Dolores is survived by husband John of 56 years. They were wed June 6, 1953, in Sequin, Texas. Dolores loved the game of golf, snow skiing, dancing, flowers and gardening. She was one of the most graceful and talented swimmers that ever hit the water.
Dolores and John moved to Lake Havasu City in October 2008, after living in Vail, Aspen and Glenwood Springs for 47 years. She was loved and adored by her husband, children, family and friends.
She is also survived by her daughters, Sheryl Huebinger, of Grand Junction, Stacey (Dan) Mortensen, of Glenwood Springs, Sonya (Rick) Doyal, of Rifle, Shawn (Mick) McElveen, of Steilacoom, Wash.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her only son, John Huebinger III.
Cremation has taken place and services will be held at The Mountain View Church in Glenwood Springs at 10 a.m. June 13, with her final resting place at Red Butte Cemetery in Aspen at 4:30 p.m., June 13.
