YOUNG MINTURN MAN DIED IN GLENWOOD MONDAY

?Donald Edward Matheson, 30, sen of Mr. and Mrs: Kenneth Matheson of Mint urn died in a Glenwood hospital Monday, following a week's illness. Born May 15, 1924, at Mills, Wyo., he spent his childhood in Minturn r moving to that city at the age of three years- He was a graduate of Mintum High School. On Aug. 31, 1946 he was married to Betty Jo Walther in Baton New Mexico. To this union were born three children: Kenneth Arnold, Clifford Matahew and La Donna Jo, all of whom survive. Mr. Matheson was an employee of the State Highway Department, working out of Minturn, and an active member of the Min turn Volunteer Fire Department He had been in poor health for a number of years prior to his death, when he had been confined in the hospital for a week. Other than his. parents, his wife and three children, Mr. Matheson is survived by three brothers: Kenneth Eugene, Edwin Darreld, and Glen Morris Matheson and one sister, Margpret Frances. Palmer, all of Minturn. Two uncles, Donald Matheson, and Cliff Ingrum also survive. Funeral services, directed by Barnum Mortuary of Glenwood, were held in Minturn Thursday and burial was in Riverside; Cemetery, Minturn. Dale Spencer of Denver officiated-
