FRED PERRIER

Fred Perrier- Wolcott man, died in Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs Friday, of injuries suffered at the Jouflas Ranch at Wolcott Monday, when a horse fell on him. April 30. He was taken to the hospital suffering from a crushed chest. Mr. Perrier was born in Aosta, Italy, February 14, 1890. He had been a resident of Eagle County for the past 40 years. He had been employed by Peter Jouflas lor the past twenty years. Before coming to Wolcott, Mr. Perrier had lived in Basalt. He was a member of the Catholic Church and of Glenwood Springs Aerie 215 FOE. He is survived by his father, Germaine Perrier and a brother. Peter both residing in France; an aunt, Mrs. Sidonie Dosslgny of Glenwood Springs; three cousins: N. A. Dossigny of Basalt; Mrs. Edith Cain, Aspen and Mrs Alice Mathias of Los Angeles. Services were held at St. Stephens Catholic Church in Glenwood Springs Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock bv Rev. C. E. Kessler; Rosary was Monday evening at Burdge Garden Chapel. Burdge Mortuary dlrectted the funeral, and burial was in Rosebud Cemetery, Glenwood.

Fred Perrier was injured Monday when a horse fell on him. He was taken to the Glenwood hospital. Shirley Bond, accompanied by Miss Gwenda Jones of Cotorado Springs were guests of Shirley’s parents, Mr. and Mrs H. S. Bond over the weekend and attended the Glenwood wedding of Renae Blewett of Glenwood and Ralph, Besler of Lowry AFB. Mrs. Wynn Cowen and chi'dren went to Eagle Tuesday afternoon and attended a Sunday School party. E. W. Erickson called on Mr. and Mrs. Jim Brett at Edwards Sunday afternoon.
