Memorial services for Harold Marvin "Mick" Randall are scheduled for Friday May 23 at 2 p.m. at the Eagle Community United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Goodier officiating.
Masonic graveside services are to follow at Sunset View Cemetery in Eagle.
Mr. Randall died May 15 at Mesa Manor Nursing Home in Grand Junction. He was 78.
Mr. Randall was born in Eagle April 4, 1908 to Mattie and W.J. Randall. He was raised and attended public schools there, graduating from Eagle High School in1928.
He married Agnes Holden on November 10, 1929 in Glenwood Springs. The couple had four children. The couple celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary last November.
Mr. Randall was an employee of Eagle County for 26 years. He also worked for the Koonce Company in Eagle for almost 20 years. He retired in 1972 and spent the winters in Mesa, Ariz. He was a member of the Eagle Community United Methodist Church and the Masonic Hall. Mr. Randall was interested in making jewelry, woodworking, collecting antiques and music. He loved all outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, and golf. He was an avid storyteller it was often said that he never met a stranger. He is survived by his wife, Agnes of Eagle; one son, Robert Randall of Saratoga, Wyo; three daughters, Rita Fahrenbruk of Fort Collins, Roxie "Mickie" White of Laramie, Wyo., and Donna Natal of Carbondale; his mother, Mattie Randall of Glenwood Springs; one brother, Rolland Randall of Eagle; two sisters, LaVeta Whittaker of Eagle and Virginia Cooper of Glenwood Springs; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
