EDWARD P. RUDER, DEC. 27, 1920--SEPT. 29, 1995.
A graveside service for Edward P. "Buddy" RUDER, 2904 Road F1/2, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Riverview Cemetery in Minturn with the Rev. Tom DENTICI officiating.
Visitation will be noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
Mr. RUDER died Friday at his home after a brief illness. He was 74.
He was a resident of Grand Junction for four years. He was a retired logger.
He was born Dec. 27, 1920, to Edward Julius and Ethel Mary Foley RUDER in Fore Creek. He spent his childhood in Gore Creek and Minturn, and graduated from high school in Minturn.
Mr. RUDER married Lottie Phyllis WARREN on March 17, 1946, in Glenwood Springs, They divorced.
He served in the U.S. Army in Europe during World War II.
Mr. RUDER was a catholic.
Mr. RUDER enjoyed hunting, fishing, animals and the outdoors.
Survivors include four daughters, Phyllis Marie SHINOVICH and Patty MIZE, both of Minturn, Judith Ann MOREHEAD of Denver and Shirley Jean EVANS of Grand Junction; a sister, Marie WILLIAMS of Grand Junction; and seven grandchildren.
A daughter, Patricia Lee RUDER, and three sisters are deceased.
