Mr. Sappenfield confined to his home, and the hospital. ’ Mr. Sappenfield was born in Shawnee County, Kansas, Sept. ! 19, 1885 and was married to Mary I Effie Kingsland at Osage County ! Kansas, October 3, 1906. I Mr Sappenfield was a resident 1 of Gilman for 22 years, where he was employed at the Empire j Zinc company until his retirement five years ago. I Following his retiremtnt, with his wife, he moved to Gyp su m | iHe is survived by his wife; ' two daughters: Mrs Gordon E. I Morris and Mrs Carl Thomas, both of Eagle; one brother, A. Z. Sappenfield of California and a 1 sister, Mrs John Hadden of Topeka, Kansas. He is also survived by four grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren . Funeral services will be held in the Gypsum Methodist Church j Saturday afternoon, Nov. 5, at 2 o’clock, with (Rev. Byron Hassj tedt officiating.
