Through the Mrs. Jas. Simpson of Minturn we learn of the death on July 28 at his home in Gunnison of a former citizen of Eagle, Rufus Sarsen. Mr. Sarsen ran a harness shop in Eagle in the earlier days and was well known and an liked by many of the citizens still living int he county. He left here in 1912 or 1913 and when to Gunnison to open a harness shop, and he has lived there since.
