SERVICES HELD FOR WILLIAM SCHUMM.
Funeral services for William C. SCHUMM, 86, of Gypsum, were held Friday, Jan. 31st, at the Farnum-Brown Chapel in Glenwood Springs. The Rev. Charles G. Holmgreen officiated.
Burial was at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Gypsum.
Mr. SCHUMM died Jan. 28 in Grand Junction.
He was born Oct. 1, 1889 in Illinois. He came to Colorado from Illinois in the early 1900's.
Mr. Schumm and his father were in the cattle business in the Gypsum and Sweetwater areas, and he participated in rodeos in Western Colorado.
Survivors include Mrs. Billie Jean RODGERS of Kalamazoo, Mich., and Mrs. Evelyn BARDSLEY of Englewood, Colorado, both nieces; two nephews, Bernard ANDERSON of Grand Junction and Miles ANDERSON of Houston, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.
