Funeral services for Mrs. Jack Elliott, 48, were held from the United Methodist Church in Rifle December 24 with the Rev. Roger Green officiating. Cremation followed services. The Sowder Funeral Home of Rifle was in charge of arrangements.
Dolly Duncan Webb, the daughter of Walter and Dolly Webb was born Sept. 10, 1920 at Eagle, Colorado. She attended school here graduating from the Eagle High School. She attended and graduated from Success Business School in Denver. For several years she was employed in the office of Gene Luby, the County Assessor’s office and the Independent Lumber Co., all in Eagle before entering the employ of the New Jersey Zinc Co. in its Gilman office.
She was married to Jack Elliott of Red Cliff on February 22, 1943 in St. Louis, Mo. Following Mr. Elliott’s discharge from military service they moved to Red Cliff. While living in Red Cliff she worked for Fleming Lumber Co. in the office of John McAllister. In 1957 the family moved to Rifle and have since made their home there.
Survivors include her husband, Mr. Elliott; two sons: Jack Patrick and Charles Michael of Rifle; two daughters Monnie Jean Elliott of Denver and Esther Elliott of Rifle; her mother, Mrs. Dolly Webb of Eagle; two brothers Alvin, now living in Australia and her twin brother, Don of Gilman; also a grandson, Joseph Patrick of Rifle.
