C. William Stanley of Gypsum passed away Wednesday at Glen Valley Care Center in Glenwood Springs. He was 93. He was born to Claude and Christina (Jorgensen) Stanley on June 21, 1907 in Rawlings, Wyoming. In 195, as a small child, he and parents moved to Denver. H e Married Esther Hendrickson on August 19, 1934 in Gypsum. She survives. He was a butcher and grocer, owning a grocery store in in Gypsum for many years. He retired in March 31, 1972. Preceded in death by his parents and nephew John Beasley. Internment at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
