Romaine STEIN of Grand Junction died May 12 at La Villa Grande Care Center. He was 65.
Mr. STEIN was born March 13, 1920, in Gypsum. He spent his childhood there and graduated from Eagle County High School.
He married Arline GUIRE on June 20, 1944, in Grand Junction. They lived in Minturn before moving to Grand Junction in 1954.
Mr. STEIN was a retired office manager at Arrow Glass and resident of Grand Junction for 31 years. He was a member of the Northeast Christian Church of Grand Junction.
His interests included fishing, hunting, woodworking and working with stained glass. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 43 in Minturn.
Mr. STEIN is survived by his wife, Mrs. Arlene STEIN of Grand Junction; three daughters, Glenda WILSON and Wilma BARBER of Grand Junction and Lois GREER of Leawood, Kan.; one sister, Helen HOLT of Hemet, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside services were held May 14 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. Kermit BRUBAKER of the First Baptist Church officiating.
Memorials may be made in his name to the Colorado Heart Fund in care of Lois Clifton, 2464 Broadway, Grand Junction, Colo. 81503.
Funeral arrangements were made by Martin Mortuary.
