Edgar "Ed" Dewey SWITZER, 93, Jan. 13 following an extended illness. He was 94 [sic].
Mr. SWITZER was born Nov. 20, 1898 in Buena Vista to Jacob Binkley SWITZER and Amanda Ellen GRIFFITH. Ed's vocations covered a spectrum from being the trail boss on cattle drives at age 12 to WWII Security Guard at Camp Hale, to being a master carpenter from which he retired.
He is survived by his wife Nellie E. (Nolan) SWITZER; his sons, Duane of Greeley, and Clair of St. George, Utah; and his daughter Barbara KESSINGER, of Salt Lake City, Utah. Other survivors include six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
