Oneita Mintora Erickson, resident of Wolcott for the past 20 years, died in a Glenwood hospital Nov. 11, following an illness of 3 weeks.

Born in Bentonville, Ark July 13, 1898, she was 56 years of age at the time of her death. She was educated in Arkansas and graduated from the Benton County High School. She lived in the Edwards vicinity prior to her marriage to Edmund W. Erickson, which took place at Camp Joseph T. Robinson in Ark. August 30, 1942. The couple have made their home in Wolcott for the past several years. During Mrs. Erickson's residence in the county, she became well-known in club circles where she took a leading part in home demonstration club activities.

Funeral services were held at the Eagle Methodist Church Saturday afternoon, Nov. 13, conducted by Rev. B. E. Buckley. The funeral was directed by Farnum Mortuary of Glenwood and burial was in the Eagle cemetery.

Mrs. Erickson is survived by her husband; her mother, Mrs. J. D. Waldron of Vinita, Okla.; one sister, Mrs. J. C. Wright of Vinita and one brother, Henderson L. Maxwell of Napa, Calif.

The community was shocked to learn of the death of Mrs. Edmund Erickson of Wolcott at a Glenwood hospital early today. She had been a patient in the hospital for the past 3 weeks. She will be buried Saturday in Eagle. Services will be held at 2 o'clock at the Methodist church.
