MRS. W. J. TRABER FUNERAL MONDAY.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Martin chapel for Mrs. Dorothy Leone TRABER, route 4, Orchard Mesa, who died Friday night at St. Mary's hospital.
Mrs. TABER, wife of William J. TRABER, underwent an operation in Dec., 1954, and had been ill since. Mr. TRABER is a member of the Soil Conservation Service staff.
The Rev. William W. MEYER will officiate, and burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery.
The family requests no flowers and asks that those who planned to send flowers make contributions to the Cancer Fund. Bearers will be Orville JAYNES< Guy JONES, Fillmore DUNCAN, James STOCKTON, Don HARBISON, and Evan KLEVEN.
Dorothy Leone YUST was born Nov. 22, 1896, at Kremmling, the daughter of Edward CHARLES and Mary YUST. She spent her childhood at Kremmling and was a graduate of Kremmling High School and Colorado State College of Education at Greeley.
She was married to William J. TRABER Aug. 16, 1920, at Denver.
Mrs. TRABER taught school three years and was Grand county superintendent of schools six years. She worked in Mesa county assessor's office for 11 years until her illness.
Well known in the community, Mrs. TRABER was a member of the Congregational Church, Sunshine Chapter No. 53, Order of Eastern Star, Past Matrons Club and Business and Professional Women's Club. She was a charter member and a past worthy matron of Starlight Chapter No. 107, OES, at Kremmling.
Mr. and Mrs. TRABER and family removed to this city 13 years ago.
Surviving in addition the the husband are one son, John, a senior in veterinary medicine at Colorado A&M College, Fort Collins; two daughters, Wilma, a registered nurse in Seaside Hospital, Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Georgine BOND, Abilene, Tex.; three brothers, Bill YUST, Denver, and Henry and Edward YUST, Kremmling; one sister, Mrs. Clara HOWE, Grand Junction; and two grandchildren.
Three sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.
