MATTIE VAN HORN DIED IN GRAND JUNCTION
Vuaeral services were held in Martin’s chapel- Grand Junction Thursday for Mrs Howard Van (Horn, former McCoy lady, who died in St- (Mary’s hospital in Grand Junction Sunday morning. Burial was in the Palisade I. OOF CemeteryMrs- Van Horn had been in failing health for some time, and a patient in the hospital for several weeks. She was 75 years of age. Mrs Van Horn was born Dec--23, 1879 at Fairplay, Colo. She
lived at Edwards in earlier years ‘.hen in the McCoy area for many years- where Mr- Van Horn farmed and was county road maintenance supervisor- Five yean* ago Mr. Van Horn retired, and the couple moved to Deßeque. Mr and Mrs Van Horn were married in G-lenwood Aug- 11, 1906She is survived by her husband a son, Willard C. Henesy- South Gate, Calif-; two daughters. May Norman of Steamboat Springs; and Mrs Mabel Price of Denver; nine grandchildren and 17 greatgrandchildren.
