Mrs. C.F. Wiltsey Died After Short Illness
Mrs. Cecil F. Wiltsey of 653 33 Road, Clifton, passed away in St. Mary's Hospital, Grand Junction, June 14 following a week's illness.
Mrs. WIltsey was born Edna P. Young Sept. 24, 1898 to Mr. and Mrs. George Young in Portsmouth, Ohio. She came to Colorado at the age of eight years, living at Golden.
She was married to Cecil F. Wiltsey in Denver, September 1923. She was previously married to Frank Albert Spitzer, who died in 1919.
She attended the Golden High School and lived in and around the Denver area until 1924. Mr. and Mrs. Wiltsey lived in Eagle County from 1924 to 1956, farming on Piney. They moved from here to Montrose in 1956, remaining there until 1960, when they moved to Clifton.
Funeral services were at the McLean Funeral Chapel in Palisade Tuesday, June 18. The Reverend Marion Hixson was the minister, and burial was in Orchard Mesa cemetery, Grand Junction.
Mrs.WIltsey is survived by her husband; two sons: Frank Spitzer of Palisade and Ernest Wiltsey of Clifton; and two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Martino, Glenwood and Mrs. Shirley Martin, Clifton; and her parents, George and Florence Young.
