YANDELL, Alonzo. Alonzo Berton YANDELL, 84, of Glenwood Springs passed away following heart attack at his home on Thursday, Feb. 25. He was a retired farmer and had been a resident of Glenwood Springs for 32 years. He was born Jan. 7, 1881 in Missouri where he spent his childhood. He was married in Protem, Missouri on Dec. 26, 1902 to Abigail Westmoreland who preceded him in Death in 1934. Survivors include three sons; Floyd of Grand Valley, Sid of Colorado Springs and Doug Hughes of Glenwood Springs; three daughters; Melba Coulter of Glenwood Springs, Mrs. Elsie Stayton of Carbondale, and Maybelle Frankele of Pomeroy, Washington; two brothers; Charles YANDELL of Redwood City, Calif, and Luceford YANDELL of Venita, Oklahoma; one sister, Mrs. Effie Bookout of Kirbyville, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. Services were held in the Farnum Chapel on Monday, March 1, at 9:30 A with the Rev. Charles J. Williams officiating. Burial was in Highland Cemetery.
