Helen F. DICE, 88, Rifle, died Nov. 6, 1997, at E. Dene Moore Memorial Home in Rifle. Services 10 a.m. Monday in First Baptist Church of Garfield County in Silt.
Mrs. DICE authored the book "A Cup of Clear Cold Water: Life on Brush Creek."
Survivors include one son, Joe of Silt; two daughters, Jane PRICE of Wisconsin and Faye KNOULTON of Texas; two brothers, Curtis SAFFEELS of Denver and Jim SAFFEELS of Arizona; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
