Donna Lou Weir-Robbins,
78, Grand Junction, died July
30, 2010, at Hospice Care Center.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m.
to noon Thursday at Callahan-
Edfast Mortuary. Burial will be
at 1 p.m. Thursday at Veterans
Memorial Cemetery of Western
Colorado.
Ms. Weir-Robbins was a hair
dresser.
Survivors include one son,
Jim Robbins of Grand Junction;
three daughters, Kay Rodriguez
and Cheryl Hollins, both
of Grand Junction, and Linda
Wilhelm of Dodge City, Kan.;
two brothers, Chester Grimm
of Everett, Wash., and Robert
Grimm of Deer Park, Wash.; 21
grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren.

Donna Lou Weir Robbins passed
away at the Hospice Care Center
on July 30, 2010.
Donna was born in Jewell
County, Kansas. She had two
brothers and one sister. She married
Lewis Weir and they adopted
two children. Lewis preceded her
in death. In 1980, Donna moved to Grand Junction where she married
Richard W. Robbins, who had five children. He also preceded
her in death.
Donna was a hairdresser all of her life. She was a true animal lover
whether it be her pugs, Chihuahua’s, cats or birds, there was never
an animal that Donna met, that she didn’t fall in love with.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands; a sister,
and a grandchild. She is survived by brothers, Robert (Dixie)
Grimm, Chester Grimm; two adopted children, Kay (Thomas) Rodriquez,
Linda (Kenny) Wilhelm; five step children, Jim (Debra)
Robbins, Cheryl Hollins, Connie (Dennis) Robbins-Brady; Kathy
(Gary) Schlaugher, and Larry (Lori) Robbins.
A visitation will take place Thursday, August 5, 2010 at
Callahan-Edfast Mortuary from 11 - 12:00 p.m. Burial will take
place at 1:00 p.m. at the Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery. Donations
