George BRETT, the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe BRETT
of Edwards, died on July 10the at 4 o'clock p.m., aged 16 years. The boy has
been ill for some time and death was the result of a complication of diseases.
His untimely death is greatly deplored by his parents' many friends throughout the county, and Mr. and Mrs. BRETT are very sorely bereaved. George was
an exceptional young man - old for his years - and was his father's pride and
constant companion. He was noted as a manly and exemplary little fellow
who won the esteem of all acquaintances. The Blade only expresses the
sentiment of a host of friends in extending sympathy to the grief stricken
family. The funeral occurred on last Friday and was very largely attended.
