BOB EDWARDS DIES. Robert EDWARDS, a citizen of Eagle for more than twenty years, passed away at the Community Hospital in Glenwood last Saturday, November 14, where he had been taken for hospitalization a few days previously.
Mr. EDWARDS was born May 18, 1859, in Hyde Park, N.Y., and there he grew to manhood, much of the time of his early life being spent on the estate of the elder ROOSEVELT, his father having charge of the stables at the Hyde Park home of the President's father.
He came to Colorado in 1903, and to this county in 1920, having resided in Eagle most of that time. For the past two or three years he had been failing in health, and this fall it was apparent that he was nearing the end, a condition which he appreciated.
The only known living relative is a sister, Miss Anna EDWARDS, of Hyde Park, N.Y.
Burial services were held in charge of the Andre Mortuary Monday afternoon, the body being laid to rest in the Eagle cemetery.
