Betty Jane Larsen, 81,
Grand Junction, died July 5,
2010, while hiking in rural
Grand Junction.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m.
Friday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
Services will be 10 a.m.
Saturday at Pear Park Baptist
Church.
Ms. Larsen was a homemaker.
Survivors include husband
Harlan; one son, Judd Bryan
of Kansas City, Mo.; four daughters,
Deborah Jane Lake of Lawrenville,
Ga., Connie Susan Dale
of Grand Junction, Patricia
Lean Gonzales of Castle Rock,
and Judy Kay Kruse of Brookings,
S.D.; one brother, Donald
Anderson of Wheeling, Ill.; 17
grandchildren; and 19 greatgrandchildren.

Betty Larsen, age 81, went home
to be with the Lord on July 5. She
trusted Christ as personal Savior
in her youth. Two favorite verses
are found in Romans 5:1,2,
Therefore, being justified by faith,
we have peace with God through
our Lord Jesus Christ, by Whom
also we have access by faith into
this grace in which we stand, and
rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Therefore, the assurance - 2
Corinthians 5:8, ... absent from the body, and to be present with the
Lord.
Betty and Harlan celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary in
April. They served the Lord together for 57 years. They have five
children, Deborah Lake, Connie Dale, Patricia Gonzalez, Judd
Larsen and Judy Kruse. There are 17 grandchildren and 19 great
grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, July 9 from 5 - 7:00 p.m. at Callahan-Edfast
Mortuary. Memorial service at Pear Park Baptist Church Saturday,
July 10 at 10:00 a.m.
