Pavel Boltyshev, 27, of Vail, died Sunday.
Pavel was born Sept. 12, 1983, in Kazakhstan and came to the United States in 2005. He lived in Orlando, Fla., for three years and moved to the Vail Valley in 2008.
He owned his own tile company, The Majestic Style, and was known for creating beautiful tile designs.
Friends remember Pavel as an extremely positive person who lived a healthy lifestyle — he was always eating healthy food, taking vitamins and going to the gym. Pavel loved to ski, and already had more than 80 days on the mountain this season. He was crazy about sports cars and enjoyed to travel. He loved living in the Vail Valley.
He is survived by his mother, Valentina Boltysheva, of Kazakhstan; and his brother, Andrey Boltyshev, of Kazakhstan.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Vail Chapel. Burial will follow at the Sunset View Cemetery in Eagle.
Memorial contributions, which will be given to his family to offset expenses, will be collected at the service. Attendees are asked to share their memories of Pavel in a memorial book, which will be presented to his family.

Remembering Pavel
Pavel Boltyshev was born in Kazakhstan on Sept. 12, 1983. He came to Vail in 2008. He enjoyed living here; Pavel was a talented guy who was making his way as a successful entrepreneur in Vail when his life suddenly ended. He was always smiling and looking forward to his new adventure. There will be a gathering of his friends and family at the Eagle Sunset cemetery at 10 a.m. today followed by breakfast.
